Coming next

More country guides are in production: South Africa, Egypt, Lebanon, Russia, Canada and Australia are planned. If your country is not covered yet, the two starting points are whether a home-country will is recognised for UAE assets and which registry route could fit which profile.

Frequently asked questions

My country is not listed. Does the UAE side still work the same way?

Yes. The UAE track described in every guide, registered wills under Federal Decree-Law 41/2022 and the real-estate rule in Article 17 of the Civil Transactions Law, applies regardless of nationality. What changes by passport is the home side of the map. Until your country guide ships, start with the foreign-will recognition guide and bring the home-country questions to the Risk Profile Audit.
